BASIC - Using Hosted Exchange Basic allows you to access your email, calendar, contacts etc through an Internet Explorer browser using a unique program called Outlook Web Access (OWA). OWA is a web browser version of Outlook which looks and feels almost exactly the same as the full software version of Microsoft Outlook.

GOLD - The Gold Service enables more features in Outlook Web Access (eg. Spell Check, Out of Office, Auto Signature, plus many more) and enables your account for use with popular Desktop client software such as Outlook Express.

PLATINUM, on the other hand, is a fully centralised server based system which includes a copy of the latest full software version of Microsoft Outlook (not Outlook Express) as a means of accessing your mailbox. Effectively, it is the same software tool that you are probably already using to access your POP3 mailbox. In the future, when a new version of Microsoft Outlook is available, you will be able to download a copy.
